New Tails

Well, I got my new tail lights in today after destroying my stockers with VHT. Will post pics soon...looks a TON better. Got some 08's for it. Now just to find the pigtails for reverse lights :thumbup:

Will NEVER do it again. Worst thing I've ever done to a vehicle short of wrecking one.

Also, I'm working on trying to improve the 3rd brake light. I used the Meguire's headlight Restore stuff on it and it got a little better. Gonna hit it some more and see what happens.

Now, Where do I find the pigtails for the reverse lights?

what did you do to make em turn out like that? I just used a couple costs of VHT, and a couple costs of clear and they looked awesome.

3 coats of VHT, let dry, and 2 coats of clear. Maybe I didn't let them dry long enough? I don't know.

I gave up working on the third brake light and ended up buying a new one. I got the old one to look somewhat better after working on it but there will be a time when it will start leaking and you don't want that. It even comes with all the sockets and bulbs. Just plug it in and put the screw in it I did that at the same time as my headlights, it all looks fresh now. The third brake like is around 60 or 65 dollars.

As far as the pigtails, I'd go to the dealer. You will have to buy 2 pigtails and 2 sockets. I know that there are universal kits out there that are way cheaper but they lack the quality of the ford kits. Spend the money and don't look back. It will be around 70 dollars.
