New take on DIY 6637

Ok, I was bored sitting in the shop today and had some 4" copper and fittings left over from a job and decided to make an intake for the shop truck. I seen people use exhaust and PVC but copper? now that's original! I know what you guys are thinking, why not scrap this at the metal yard and buy a decent intake, but wheres the fun in that. :blitzed:

copper can oxidize when direct heat is applied above 1000 degrees and oxygen is inside. All my boilers and tankeless heaters have copper heat exchangers that heat up water with temps over 160 degrees that people shower with and clean dishes with. i believe its safe.

IMO the copper looks pretty snazzy under the hood. Buff it really good and hit it with a couple coats of clear would be my move.
