What's up guys! Like the title says in new to the Diesel life! I just bought a 2003 F350 crew cab 6.0 and I was wondering what would be the first things I should do to it! I bought it for $8,500 with 189,000 on it, the previous owners had put gas in it instead of diesel and drove it for 5 miles till it completely shut down, I have the receipts from the Ford dealership where they got all the work done. It runs like it's brand new! Anything I should look out for?! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1414996550.432722.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1414996529.664023.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1414996502.614358.jpg

There should be a sticky somewhere telling you a lot of needed info to know when owning a 6.0. I hope she treats you well!

welcome to 6.0 land! A good first mod would be to get something along the lines of an Edge CTS to monitor everything! Monitoring is key in 6.0s! Let me know if you need anything for it!

Along the lines of a monitor as well as a coolant filtration kit would be some good things to throw on it to start

Google "ford 6.0 powerstroke problems"
Then come back here and learn how to tell if you have them and how to fix them.
While that process is in progress save up 3-5k just in case you need the worst case scenario type work.

Its likely your truck is just fine and will remain that way but its just as likely it wont. Welcome to the 6.0 psd owners club. Haha
