Talking to a parts company yesterday and asked when a "certain" company will be releasing their tuner. They said by the end of the year they are working on it now. Don't want to drop any names but you should get the idea.

Same thing I was thinking. Pretty vague post. My guess is Apex Tuning.

No it's not apex. I shouldn't say new. It's a company that is well established in the tuner World.

I originally talked to the company direct. They said they haven't even started working on it and didn't know if it would ever be released.

Now the guy I spoke to yesterday was very positive they will have it done before the end of this year.

So basically your telling us another tuner will produce something in the future bt wont name names.

Its EFI live and its great we are getting the option. I can promise that there arent too many people out there that can make the tunes for it. The other bad thing is you need a V2 to make it work which is pretty pricey and it doesnt monitor. SO for most people H&S is good enough, people wanting to squeeze every little bit out then EFI live will be awesome. Way more control... almost too much control LOL

mcc , and Bentley's incredibly hard work, working with and opening tables , may not be exactly what EFI will open. I don't see EFI having a massive advantage over mcc , only that it is an option, with the same if not longer learning curve for the current tuners of these trucks . And any outside tuner , is gonna spend a tremendous amount of time learning the ford tables to get to where most were a while back .

one v2 can tune a ton of ecm's for $125 per vin license.... or buy the stream and tune as many as you'd like.

they also do the auto cal which is pretty cheap.

Ya I read it....

What I was getting it is there would be the option for an exchange ecm deal. Pay for the tunes and license and that's it. Just saying......

Not like I have experience with both of them or anything
