Well, after going through a few stock sets and blowing the bellows out of them, I replaced the bellows with aftermarket ones...but, the stock up pipes were still restricted at the round collector/vband.

There is alot of talk about just how great it is to be able to run a T4 turbo with divided up pipes...so this got me looking around for a set...but at anything from $650.00 to over $1000.00, and no option to run both, a T3 or T4...I decided to make my own set.

The set I built allows me to run a T3 turbo, (Using a T4-T3 adaptor) or I can swap out the T4-T3 adaptor for a regular T4 1/2" spacer, and run a T4 housing.

Still got some clean up to do to them, but you get the idea...

That is EXACTLY what I have been wanting to try! You using the ED spacers with WG provisions by chance?

No. Those spacers are too big to fit nicely. Plus I am hearing that they crack and split because of the way they are made. A lot of vendors won't even sell them anymore for that reason. The crushed piping cracks, not the spacer itself.

I am using a BD Power T4-T3 adaptor. That way all I have to do to run my T4 .83 housing is pull the adaptor out, and slide in a 1/2" standard T4 spacer.

Those are sweet! What pedestal are you using them with?

I bought another BD Power pedestal and turbo mount so I could fab it all up on my junk motor, so it's a direct swap for me.

I will be modifying the adaptor plate because the T3 ports are standard size. (Very small) My housings have all been opened up to to Steed Speed tall port size.

Just tried to install these up pipes with the BD Power pedestal and T3 mounting flange still in the truck.

They went in faster than I typed this.

Flange adaptor before and after "port matching".:naughty:

The T4 is a wee bit wider than these ports, but these T3 ports are taller by a wee bit...

Hence why I can never decide which housing to go with.
But now since I have divided up pipes and adaptor...I can run whatever housing I want.:D

The jackasses that I took my turbo to in Calgary for an estimate of repair took the liberty of sandblasting the inside of my ceramic coated housing...why? I have no idea...I guess they were trying to show that it was cracked.

Anyone ever see a .70 divided wastegated housing NOT cracked? Jeeezz...

And no...those clowns did not get to rebuild my turbo...just sayin...:cursing:

I just dont know if I should spent the money to have it redone again...I really like the benefits of the coating, but since the housing is still done on the outside...IDK.

Looking really good man. Opens up a lot more avenues for chargers too.
