new vs old edge insight

I currently have the Edge insight CS monitor. I want to buy a php FICM programmer which is apparently the same as the older style Edge monitor. I would sell the newer one since there's no point in having two. Is there any difference between them? I know the newer one obviously looks nicer and I've also read that the EGT probe's are different, but what about other than that? Can the old one still monitor the same PID's, read and clear trouble codes, etc?

Also, I'm wondering if all EGT fittings are created equal because I really don't feel like re-drilling and tapping my manifold. Thanks

The old one does everything the new one does just not as pretty if you do decide to go that route let me know I am removing a EGT probe that is three months old that will fit the ficm tuner

Could you pm me what you're looking to get for it? Between the programmer, shipping, and egt probe I'm looking at $500+ so I'm still deciding if I want it that bad lol.
