no wait to start light

hey yall. thanks in advance for help.
i went outside this mornin and tried to start my e99. i noticed that my wait to start light was not coming on. i tried to start it anyway , didnt start. i swapped the blower motor relay with the pcm one and that didnt help. i managed to get it to start with a lil shot of ether. i know that that aint good but i had no othr choice i needed to crank it.

Check the fuse for your fuel bowl heater as it may be broken on you.

no blown fuses. after i got it cranked and drove to town it cranks fine but the wait to start light still doesnt work

Glow plug relay?

If it starts and all the other lights are working then I would say it is the bulb. As far as hard to start I would say check the glow plug system.

low and behold i got home today and put my load tester on my batteries and found a bad one. changed both of them and my light came on

Yep. Bad batteries do some funky things to these trucks. Glad you got it figured out.
