Stupid question, and don't tell me more boost doesn't mean more power because I know that already, but how much boost do all you non vgt running 6.0 people see? I saw right over 40psi with my 66/73/.91 and with the 472/83/.90 I see right about 40psi. I feel like it should be a little higher yet, because the turbo would still be efficient at more than 40psi... Thoughts?

66/74.76 i a max of 50 psi. i have a gate plumbed in to keep it there. with no gate it will go higher.

What were drive pressures on the 66 and now the 72? Obviously 40psi on the 66 and 40psi on the 72 don't equate to the same volume of air.

What are you fueling with? Holding ICP?

Haven't plumed in a drive pressure gauge yet. was told to expect pretty close to 1:1. Obviously the 72 @ 40psi is moving more air than the 66 @ 40psi. Just wondered what others are seeing. injectors are custom MPD ~260/150's, full
icp, NEVER below 4.2 or so volts at WOT

got a lot of fuel pulled then! I see 45 psi out of my 66, drive pressure on the mechanical gauge is 50 psi.

Well I guess we'll see what happens next week. Injectors are coming out today to head back down to MPD. going to pressure test intercooler while truck is down.

Does it clean up the fuel pretty good or??? I'd imagine you have enough fuel/ICP to really drive the turbo. Maybe just a really efficient setup? Been on the track or the dyno? I'm assuming you can feel a performance difference between the old turbo setup and the new?

Cleans right up. Only track vid I have is a junk vid from last weekend in 2wd. 14.8 @ 103. Ran it the day we installed the 72 ran 12.8 @ 105 then 12.7 @ 105. Dyno numbers made 555/877

here's some dyno vids:

First one was brake boosting it, second one was no brakes. That was on a no load dyno, but I was still seeing right about 40psi. Only other time it was on the dyno was with the 66 with lots of shaft play and it put down like 10-15 more hp but that was on a load cell dyno so can't really compare

I could hold icp pulling in OD, but when i graphed it logging on a 0-100 run it would spike/drop off throughout the pull. I would data log it correctly, as in that video i saw it drop to 3.9 quickly. Just because you see 4.5 on the screen quickly doesnt mean you're completely maintaining it, i learned that quickly, thanks to Kyle

Does having it hooked up to a snap on scanner while on the Dyno count for ya? Sat there and watched icp on the scanner while 4th gear and OD pulls were made.
