box turbos need a 3" to 2.5" reducer elbow. Those that fit 2.5" are machined down to fit.

If your wanting it for a bw box turbo then you need a 45* 3" to 2.5

Quick question why is called a box turbo ?other than it comes in a box of coarse

It's kind of like calling the tunes that originally come on a sct tuner "canned" tunes.

Its called a box turbo because thats how the charger comes straight from borg warner. The distributor has not modified it, or machined anything, or put a different housing on it like the majority of these people do and charger twice the price for it.
