Noob head stud question.

How can you tell if you have head studs? Where do I look? The engine compartment is just such a mess to look around

there are a few bolts outside of the valve cover. if you see hex head bolts, its head bolts, if you see studs with nuts and inset hex pattern inside the end of the bolt, its studs. you can probaly see a few on each side depending on what your engine bay looks like.

Whs^ Passenger side should be easy to see? Driver side is toward firewall?

if you see a 6 point bolt head, its stock, if you see a 12 point nut, its studded. just take a peak.
