If I buy the obd2 splitter from amp research will my mini max still function properly?

Last reports haven't been good when using OBD II splitters. Seems as its the way the CAN bus talks and listens over the port.

Might end up being a non issue anyways. I don't think the plug and play amp steps are going to work on my 11 anyways.

Everyone I seen try this didn't work out. I tried it on my 6.4 with the dashdaq and minI Maxx it never worked out as far as the splitter goes. So I would think the steps would be confused as well if not give the mini Maxx mixed signals.

Tried doing it with a dashdag/X4 DD/AE with a splitter from amazon. it worked but both of them were slow to update or so pids didn't even show up.
