Ok so had this all types out last night and lost it. Didn't get any pics of the 08 bracket ad my battery died before I could. 04 bracket on left and 05 bracket on the right. Notice where I notched them to clearance with the pitman arm bolt when mounted in obs truck. The 05 bracket wad installed for 3 years without issue. I never used the 04 bracket in the obs as I was test fitting and determined I'd build my own. 04 up close: 05 bracket up close. The U-shaped cutout in the center is how I modified it to work on the obs. Absolutely zero issues: Now for the 08 bracket... it is completely different from the 05 one because of the frame differences in the front. The 08 frame dips down much lower in front of the axle than the 05 does. Therefore the frame side mounting holes are much closer together. The gusset/webbing support between the frame side and the crossmember side of the bracket are thicker, especially on the front of it. I don't see any reason the 08 bracket couldn't be made to work on an obs. Mount holes are just different and might need to modify another part of it.
