It your fuel pressure drops low enough it can cause damage to the injectors. Typically it scores the plunger and barrels and you have to pull the injectors to be rebuilt again. I still haven't installed an electric pump yet and I have 350cc/200% injectors they are just pulled back with tuning. The stock mechanical system only supports short of 400hp from most of the dyno results I have seen.
