I have a 97 F250 ccsb, put a D60 under it from a 350 that had some small amount of lift in the springs. I'm going to take out these springs and do a RSK and put in new leafs after I complete a fummins swap. Can someone recommend which SD springs to use for a good ride yet rated for a heavy engine? Also, what do you have to do to the obs trucks to fit the sd springs?

I'm gonna be running "v" code sd springs with sky's kit which should be right around 4" of lift. Depending on how much lift your after, you can get different size rsk's, I believe anywhere from 2"-5". Both PMF and Sky have the installation directions on they're websites, it gives you the step by step process. Both kits a really nice, but I think you can get the least amount of lift with PMF's kit if your looking to stay close to stock height

thanks for the quick response. I need the lift, I put 35's on already, and actually once that Cummins is dropped in, its going to sit the front end down even more so I am looking to keep what I have if not add another inch or so. Just have to clear the garage door, which is about 3" to the roof lights. thanks.

It won't sit any lower than it did with the 7.3 in it, unless it was a gas motor. Either way, go on 1 of they're websites an look at what they offer, you can figure out what you want for lift an you'll love the difference in ride quality.

i think X codes are the ones in SD rated for the plowing aplications, rated for a little more LBS and gives a little lift over the V codes. 2" i think

A f350 dually just comes with V codes....

For a C motor I'd use X codes..plus our RS kit with B codes rear and the correct block, will clear 35" and be level.

Been doing RS kits for 11+ years...PM me if I can help.
