1997 F250 7.3 2wd auto. I'm pulling the engine out. What needs to come off to get it out?
Right now the turbo is off, trans is unbolted. Engine mounts unbolted from cross member. No fenders, hood or anything in front of engine. Starter is off. No heater box there. Only thing I can think of that may interfere are the oil filter and up pipes. Any input? Don't think I've ever pulled one out of an OBS.
Thanks,
Brad

I would think you are good to go. I pulled the cab so I could pull the motor and trans together. I wasnt a bad job at all.

Having the hood out of the way helps, you can do it without taking the hood off but it makes it easier, at least for me it does with my big hoist

Good read from DZL JIM. Lol. Looks like I'll just have to remove oil filter and then try it. I have nothing in the way body wise, no hood, fenders or rad support. Should be easy pickings. Thanks for the help.

With all that out of the way, it shouldn't take very long at all to pull it

Dang you took out WAY more than I did when I pulled mine lol so you should be good if you have a manual its easiest to drop the tranny. Very tricky to get the clutch to clear the bellhousing before the oil pan hits the crossmember. Left my turbo, oil filter, heater box and fenders all in.

I only took I apart like that because I'm scrapping the truck anyway. And it was easier to get around the truck in a tight garage like that.
