Hey yall new to the Army (first post), i have a 2008 6.4 Job-1 i got back in december. i have nothing but problems with it and the dealer i got it from gave no warranty so i was stuck forkin out all the money....ive put a new vista pro radiator, sinister coolant filtration, new t-stats, new CAT EC-1 coolant after flush, elite egr delete, h&s tuner, dpf/cat delete, cfm+ intake elbow, i mean im on my way but when the next positive add-on is decided im riddled with more issues! i had to back flush my heater core cause i lost heat now i can smell coolant when i turn the heat on, not losing coolant and degas isnt puking, when i put it in reverse my tranny goes right in but it seems something in the rear axel gets jammed up and takes a sec to go in and bucks two-three times then goes in. and the last issue on top of all that i drained my fuel water separator the other day and when i was driving the truck start buckin real bad in 4th gear. sounds like a miss, but then it stops if i park it and drive it the next day. it only does it sometimes and only in 4th gear except the other day it did it in 3rd through 5th the entire 1.5hr drive i had. but if i step on it she runs like hell and doesnt miss a beat? im very frustrated with the issues and want to enjoy my bada** 6.4. they have so much potential and i want that side of them not the bad side. any help on any of my issues would be awesome thanks! where are you driving when it does it? the reason i ask is here in ca there is cement freeways and they are bumpy as hell. with the throttle on these trucks being fly by wire the pedal is senstive. if you have the heel of your foot not planted on the floor and just using your tip toe to press the pedal you start boucing and your whole body starts bouncing in the seat. sounds dumb but try planing your heel on the floor when you accelerate and see if that solves it.
