odd electrical

so, my e99.

first. when i first got the truck. cruise light did not work. but if you left the lights on, and got out, the truck would ding at you. standard dinger.

then. put the pmt2 pcm in it. cruise light lit up, when i was in cruise control. fabulous.

now. i noticed, the other day, after getting out of it, that the dinger does not go off, if i forget to shut off the lights. that in itself i could care less about.

what has me stumped, is the controls in the steering wheel did not light up before. all it has are the cruise control functions in the wheel. they do light up now. i have done nothing to the truck in 10+months, aside from fill up and drive it.

what would make the dinger stop, and the steering wheel lights start to work?

gem issues....the dinger is built into the gem.

the wheel lights could be in the wiring in the column also, but if they're working now, dont worry about it

im not worried.

im trying to sell the truck, and just clarifing to make sure i dont have any potential issues i need to address to make/keep the truck sellable.
