Recently my truck has been idling weird. When I first start it everyday I let it warm up a bit then go on my way but until I drive it for a good bit there is an odd idle. Usually it idles at just over 500 rpms but it will fluctuate sporadically and the needle will jump maybe 50-75 rpms. But after I drive for a bit it seems to go away. This also doesnt happen on every cold start, only sometimes. There is no loss in power and after I drive it for a bit the idle is fine. What could it be?

Clean is big time an issue on IPR's Look at the tiny parts.

I have seen some even better ones but that was what I could find quick.

What color is your CPS?

Grey CPS can cause this idle issue.
I have it myself.

not to many places to get a black CPS now. =)

Yeah, the smallest part of the truck is in that IPR and it will keep the whole truck from doing anything.

Clean the FPR screen . it sounds like there is air in the system . The return screen is how the air is removed .

Its rare that cleaning the IPR will help . There is a very fine filter that protects it ( edge) .. Most times they are worn & need replacement ...

Also , try unplugging the ICP sensor , see if the idle evens out...
