Is the OEM pump Bosch, or Motorcraft? Is the Walboro a feasible option in a stock fuel system? Recommendations?

I have a stock fuel system, and don't have the coin to do a RR return right now, but the factory pump is getting a bit weak and due for replacement before it leaves me stranded on this summer's road trip.

whs^^^, but the walbros need better pre pump filtration because they trash out to easy.. the factory foot has a mesh screen in it to stop some contaminates but not good enough... if you go walbro add a decent water fuel separator like the baldwin bf1212 filter and it should stay healthy for a long time.

The Walboro output near the same fuel pressure as the stock pump?

Not looking to have to add a pressure regulator or anything.

Either way I would install a prepump filter before tossing a new pump on.

That answers any of my question in which way?

I'm aware I can buy a replacement OEM pump. I was wondering if the stock was Motorcraft or Bosch brand.

First, your question was answered.
Second, that link both answers your question, AND provides a cheap source for the pump.

Just trying to help.... guess I'll know better next time.

Almost every online parts shop for replacement parts (rockauto, partsource/autozone, etc.) lists a Motorcraft and Bosch brand pump. Both with different prices and part numbers, this is why I am wondering which is OEM, and if they are actually different pumps. Does that clarify?

I like to know the hard details about all the options before I spend the money on a pump. Then I don't have to punch myself in the nose for buying something I regret later on, especially if I do end up doing a DYI or Irate - RR system.

Ordered a new Bosch pump. Then I can save the old pump for dual SD pumps, and build a good filter setup and/or full RR tank pickup to heads when my budget allows.

Thanks for the suggestion guys. I'm only running 160's, so nothing big. I would like the flow of a single Walboro, but I'm not sure I want to risk the previously questioned reliability of the Walboro pumps (yes I've read about pre-pump filters seeming to help) when I'm 2000km from home.
