Will the oil cooler from a 96 fit on a 99? The one on my 99 is pissing coolant. I have one sitting around from my 96 engine that I can rebuild and just swap out if they are a direct swap.

theres really no rebuilding just use the one thats in it, its 4 orings and two gaskets. it wont save you much time at all using a diffrent one.

That is very true. In the time it takes to remove one, you can remove it, replace the O rings and gaskets and reinstall it...

You have any experance in replacing these??? LOL :flipa:

They are easy to rebuild. Riffraff keeps the rebuild kits in stock.. also might be a good time to flush the coolant system and do an oil change. Take the front loose first. It's the tight one to get to.

Front was easy, go thru the fender... Just dont drop the bolt in the oil drain pan when your not looking... LOL

Just did this on my truck two weekends ago. Easy cheasy other then looking for that damn bolt for 45 minutes. Then we went to my bucket of spare motor parts and found one. Then about 15 minutes later we found the oil one... LOL
