My buddys 08 with 6.0 manifolds has oil coming out of the base of the EBP tube. The truck has blowby but its always had quite a bit it and its a steady stream also its not under pressure really its no where near enough to even push the cap up so Im hoping its not a cracked piston. We were just in doing head studs and gaskets the same time I did mine and all the pistons looked good with no signs of cracks. so my question is if its not a piston could it be a bad turbo seal and if so how would I go about checking this

Could be a number of things. Turbo seal or the blow by. I'm leaning towards a valve guild seal on an exhaust valve,I seem pics of them where that actually popped up out of the holder. You will see it when you get the valve covers off

well pulled the valve covers off lastnight everything looked fine in their even started the truck and ran it nothing out of the usual. was going to run a compression test but the fittings I had didn't fit so that was a bust anybody have the part number for the fitting that fits these engines? Tried sticking a borescope down the hole hoping it would be bright enough that even out of the tiny hole I could see something but it was just to far away to see anything
