Hey guys. I have a leak i cannot find. Its on the drivers side. Its only oil. It starts at the front of the head and has made oil all the way back to the trans. Ive checked the dip stick for cracks and couldnt find any. Glow plug caps look fine. The front of the heads has oil at the bottom where my fuel lines go. It almost seems like oil is getting into my manifold. My ccv seems to be hazing more than normal but i just recently just did the atmo turbo so who knows. Any places you guys have found to look at? Possible for oil to come out of the manifold? Its really a small leak. About 5 dime to quarter sized drips basically all from the trans area where it runs to and hangs around. Thanks. Ryan

Bedplate is pretty common, mine is leaking right now. I need to take it in and have it fixed before I exceed 100,000 miles...

What about the turbo drain line? I think that's where mine is leaking from.

Its a real small leak. Im going to pull the turbos when i do nozzles on it so i can pull the heat shield and support the fuel lines better. Sick of the harmonics from em. Ill check it when im there

Just an idea, but what if you put rubber fuel line around the lines to keep them quiet? i might take a look at mine tomorrow to see if it can be done. Only issues i see is if it would melt and how purty it would be under the hood.

I would bet they would be close to melting. Fuels probably around 150*. I think the heat blankets a nice idea but i hate how un formed it is. Ya you cant see it so i guess its fine but i hate botched together looking things. Would the heat shrink wrap work? Not sure on a temp rating for it. One of my turbos sounds like its goin bad so its getting yanked asap. Gonna wait for the 60s to get here before i tear it down though

heat shrink wrap would easily melt. what they need is to be dipped/painted with a high heat rubberized material. You could possibly use exhaust heat wrap around them.
