Check out Irate's setup. Just put one on my truck. Same idea as an AD with filters and all but using an A1000 pump. I used 5/8" from the sump to the pump, then 1/2" from the pump to the feed

is your sump 5/8" hose out? if not you can just change it to 5/8" and shouldn't have to change anything else if you go with the setup I did

its a beans diesel sump so its 1/2"

You can either change the fitting on the sump to 5/8" (which is what I did with my XDP sump) or you can change the fitting on the setup from Irate to 1/2" but I would think 5/8" feed would be a better option. Either way its a 2min deal to swap the fitting out and go 5/8". Just gonna need a few feet of hose but thats no big deal either

need a regulated return to regulate the pressure. You need to use 5/8" line from the sump to the pump to keep it fed properly. If you want any help I can give you some advice, whether you use it is your choice, just shoot me a pm.

Aeromotive says minimum of -10an or 1/2" but 5/8" would definitely be ideal. Especially with it being so easy to change to 5/8" considering you already have the sump in

Basically gotta start fresh. All components need to be rated for the flow of the A-1000. Lines, water separator, filter, regulator, As long as you do that it SHOULD work LOL

-10an is 5/8

-8an is 1/2 and is not sufficient for these pumps on the supply side of the pump.

My bad on that... not super familiar with an sizing so  me lol. Just going of what I read in the paperwork that came with the pump. Either way it shouldn't be hard for the op to make it work. Just did this install saturday and it is definitely working awesome.

Jake makes a sweet setup thats for sure!

the an conversion is in 16ths

-4 = 1/4 (4/16ths)
-6 = 3/8 (6/16ths)
-8 = 1/2 (8/16ths)
-10 = 5/8 (10/16ths)

so on.

just looked it up to educate myself LOL. and yeah Jake's setup is sweet. the way everything was oriented was goofy... had the inlet side towards the front of the truck... not hard to swap it all around though. And the bracket could use a little more reinforcement to keep it from vibrating/rattling. All easy fixes but still worth the money no doubt

The sump is 1/2" npt therefore it is adequate considering it is the same ID as a 5/8" line. If you need some education on this you can call myself or any of the other vendors that sell custom fuel kits if you decide. Fwiw, a regulated return is not required but is a good idea for many reasons.

Also for everybody else's information, the 5/8" pickup tube that you install in the tank to feed these setups from most vendors is actually 1/2" inside diameter. The tubing that is commonly referred to as the 5/8" pickup tube is an OD measurement. All pushloc and hydraulic hoses are measured using Inside Diameter.
