I do not know the details. I figure they did not use the min 8" overlap rule. As far as the guy asking about the difference, they are 2 different designs. I think you are opening up a can of worms an will never get the answer you are looking for. Anytime someone asks you just get a bunch of crap for answers and the ouo fanboys say theirs are the best and everything else is junk. I know this to be total crap because traction bars have been around way longer than ouo with great results. I don't doubt that ouo makes a killer product, I just hate how their fans talk down on everyone else. There are different markets for different products, just the same as everything else in life. I myself am trying to decide on ouo or pmf but I have not found a clear answer cause these threads always turn into a pissing match. There is a guy in the 6.7 section that currently has the ouo but is trying pmf on his other truck, hopefully he will share some good info. I do not think any of the ouo fanboys have tried pmf. They just talk down on pmf without physical proof of pmf being inferior. They are also all close friends from what I gather. I personally feel that noone should talk down on another company even if their product isnt of the same class. They should word it in a way that does not put the other guy down, how hard is that. As I said before, there are different markets for everyone. One last thing before I drag this out to far. I hear a lot that you get what you pay for. That is a crap statement. While this may be true in some situations, this is not always true. I would wait to see what the guy that is going to use both ends up saying. Other than that, I think your out of luck This is kind of like a dodge vs chevy, vs ford deal. Everyone has their opinion and there is no one clear winner
