I might be buying some 200/30 injectors from a guy on here and I'm going to need to get my chip retuned, my truck has a PMR motor and I dont wanna make it go boom. I can't seem to find anything bad about David Lott and DI is the cheapest around for reburns, I'm only shooting for 425hp with my set up in my sig plus the 200/30. Is David a good guy to have tune my truck? If you dont think he would please elaborate.

I ran David's tunes on my old 99 an was really happy with them. Although I was only running his tunes with stock injectors at the time, when I went bigger I went to a different tuner because of who I bought all my parts through at that time. Like I said though, I had no complaints with his tunes. You could try pm'ing imelmo on here for his advice, he had a pretty built 7.3 awhile ago an I'm pretty sure David did most of, if not all the work including tuning.

Not trying to sway you against DI, I have nothing but awesome experiences with buying from them, his customer service is awesome as well. But the cheapest reburns is free, and TW is free.

I think has would be more correct. Snow White is running and going down the tracks. In fact I think she has 10's on fuel only in her future.

OP, you will not be disappointed with any thing that David Lott sells you. Class Act and he runs a great company.

That said, I am running Tony Wildman's tuning on my truck.

Picking your tuner based solely off of cost has gotta be 1 of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

That's why I'm asking if he has good tunes and he is the cheapest then I would wanna go with him over his competition to save a few bucks, but if in the long run DI tunes harm my truck then I wouldn't wanna go with them.

I did make up my mind I'm gona go with Matt's tune at gearhead. They cost $175 to reburns and are free reburns for life after that.

I had his tunes on my 96 and loved it. Also bought my AE program from him, he is a good guy and I like what he stands for was my biggest reason for doing business with him.

Just throwing his out there..with beans tuning I went 10k miles @400 hp, and 3k miles @458 , I drove in eco tune 99% of the time, and drove like a grandma which didn't save my motor . Pop goes the motor.

With pmrs anyone bit gearheads makes me question insanity..

I agree, I mearly posted that as an informative comment. I wouldn't want to sway anyone away DI. As I said in my post I have bought a couple items from him, and he even answers the phone in person and took time to walk me through an install. I went with TW personally because I knew my build would be spaced out over time and expected several reburns in the process because I am still in school, and the reburns were free. And at the time it was one of the only tuners that I had heard of. I am currently looking to try out a different one, and may have to give DI a call. My DD tune gets hot quick.

Who is David Lott?

.

Rotfl :toast:

Each of my trucks are running different Tunes, which gives me a different perspective than most. I like different things about each one of them, as the tunes are all noticeably different.

After lengthy detailed conversations with David Lott on the 7.3, different HP levels and what breaks PMR's. I would completely trust him to tune your motor and it hold together for you. One of my trucks is close to the setup you are looking at and the tuning is Davids.
