I want this image on my tailgate oval except I'm not sure what background to use and to have a badge made or use an overlay. I pretty much suck at photoshop so if anyone wants to doctor this up I would really appreciate it.

The image I found is really small and I can't figure out how to make it larger without it looking like crap.

Depends on how much you want to spend and how long you want it to last.

Less expensive, shorter life -- get the overlay
More expensive, will have it for the life of the truck -- get a badge

Hey ***ker -- did I say it would only last four weeks? Nooooooo. I said "shorter life." :poke: LOL

The overlay on my tailgate is at least three years old. But NO WAY it'll last as long as a billet aluminum badge. Which I have on order for the grill.

Repaint it or powdercoat it. If the shiny stuff gets dull, polish it. But they ain't cheap!

You can probably find them on eBay still. I got mine from a place called DeVries Signs (or something like that).

Not sure about now, but the ones I got from DeVries were gel overlays (not just a sticker). I know exactly what you're talking about though, and there's a big difference between the two.

That's the place. Started thinking about this more. The ones I got from them have to be at least six years old. Pretty amazing.
