Prob needs thermostats and you need to.look.into.the fan code to make sure it's not running all.the time

Ok its running like normal fan runs at idle but it doesn't come on excessively. Anybody know where the thermostat and how hard is it to replace?

Plan on a full day if you have never done it before. Also pull the drivers side inner fender out. It will help.

Rivets are the new duct tape.

If you have the egr coolers in place it's going to be a biach. Plan on w constable amount of time to do it.

If you don't think the fan is running excessively then your probably fine. Im actually not sure if there is a sensor or something that feedback to the engine to tell it how fast the fan is spinning. Maybe that code comes if the engine temp isn't what desired should be.

There is a speed sensor in the fan that feeds back info to the PCM. That's what that code is. A lot of things can cause that code, but I wouldn't lose a whole lot of sleep over it unless it comes back.

Blow the connector out with compressed air and put a little dielectric grease in there and keep an eye on it.

If it still has warranty the thermostat and fan clutch should both be covered under power train.
