I know what the codes mean, P0673 Cylinder 3 Glow Plug Circuit/Open and P0703 Brake Switch B Input Circuit, but what might be causing it? Also, what is considered blow by? I took the oil cap off and let it idle for a bit but I'm not sure what to look for. There was some steam coming out of it but it was only 35 degrees out when I just did it tonight. I put my hand over the opening while it was running and there was no oil, or even a oil smell really, on my hand after. I cleared the codes with my H&S but after a few starts, the check engine light is back on again. Where should I start looking you think to figure out how to fix this? Thanks guys for any help you could pass along......

Sorry, forgot to add that I just got back from driving it over 400 miles with the check engine light on but it ran fine, no problems at all. I have a H&S set to it's lowest setting and a 5" exhaust with the DPF disabled. Been driving the truck like this for over a year with no problems at all. Thanks..........

What side is the #3 on, Driver or Pass? The reason I ask is I was looking over the engine area and noticed some oil/leak around one of the glow plugs where it meets the valve cover on the driver side. Should I replace the glow plug harness? It seems like a pretty cheep option to try. Is it a big job or should I have the dealer do it? Thanks guys for some feed back.
