Tailgates are hard to come by for any less than that. Does it have the tail lights with the bed? If so, I would buy it, keep the tailgate, possibly keep the tails, and sell the rest. You will probably end up making money on the deal. At least down here anyway. Just my $.02

That's a good deal if everything is in good condition. If you lived closer, I'd take the bed off your hands for my reg cab fummins, if all you wanted was the gate.

Going price around here for a bed and tailgate is 1200 bucks. I would snag that up in a second. Even avter painting the tailgate, you will come out ahead.

Harder than that. You have to take paint fading into consideration. Take it to a body shop / paint supplier and have them match it for you.

The bed is an awesome deal, and you're concerned with a $50 pair of tail lights? :poke:

Welp.. its red ha ha. Idk can I go to the dealer and get the same paint? Or is it harder than that

Any auto body supply store can mix the paint for you. A good body store will have the special gun which will measure exactly what color the paint is...

But, your truck appears to be the same color as mine, paint code F1, check the door jam. When I had my new bed and fender flares painted, my painter just took the paint code and had them make that. It matched perfectly (that was two years ago). When I bent my tailgate last summer, I had my uncle paint my tailgate in his garage. Again, he took the paint code to a DIFFERENT body supply store (or his work, I don't know remember), and the tailgate matches perfectly. Then, I bought a set of extended cab doors from a wrecked truck that were rust free. Same color, F1. They had been in storage for several years. Again, they match perfectly.

Now, I'm not saying paint doesn't fade, cause it does, and all paint jobs are different. But, assuming your paint has been taken decent care of, it should match just fine.
