pinchweld cover ideas

i was asking a company out of florida a bit ago about making some custom pinchweld covers. he mentioned that he can CNC cut words on them or LED lights as he is a LED/light dealer. were talking about attaching them with 3M double sided tape so theres no bolts or other welds holding it on. he came up with powerstroke being cut into it. anyone else have any ideas or thoughts that could be cut into it. if anyone is interested i can give the company's name through PM as they are not a site sponsor. they also make 50 inch light bar mounts for on the roof just above and behind the cab lights. again ill keep it to PM as they are not a site sponsor. any other ideas would be neat to have posted here though.

There's a thread on pinchweld covers already and there's also a site sponsor that makes them too. PMF makes them, I'm sure if you wanted something custom they could whip up whatever you wanted.

Will those allow fluids to drain? The pw covers I've seen appear to trap and seal the bottom of the pw keeping any fluids that splash up into the body cavity, from draining out.

Maybe I'm a pessimist but I see rusted cabs in a few years.

The way it seems he is designing them is try will be one flat piece not one piece bent back on itself. So I believe the answer to your question is yes liquids would drain out.

The ones that I run and Trevor sell are spaced away from the pinchweld cover, making no room for water to be trapt.

I went with a little more "manly" version of pinch weld covers...

...I custom made 3 1/2" steel rockrails for mine.

Well guys they're designed and ready. All stick on application made from 1/8" 6061 aluminum. "Powerstroke" cut out is available in blue, red, black ( gloss or matte) and white. Group buy price is $80 shipped for regular cab and extended cab. $110 shipped for crew cab. He told me that "POWERSTROKE" could be replaced with a custom cutout for $25 extra. There is a 2 week lead time because they are made to order. Id like to get groups of at least 20. What ill do is keep track of how many of each are wanted by who then I'll PM you guys his paypal email address either when he says to or we hit 20 of the one size. PM me with questions that i will direct to him. Hopefully we get the numbers needed soon as i want them myself. Thanks guys.

Is that seriously just a piece of flat stock? With a emblem bolted to it? You cannot list these for sale, there are already vendors on here selling similar products.

I know the guy. We've talked before. But I agree, you cant list these for sale here. PMF already makes them and pays their dues to be able to advertise here and sell THIER product.
