i need to get a set machined for engine number 2 for next year.

What are you having done? Fly cutting? Taking the lip off? Seems like any competent engine machine shop should be able to handle it.

i've always used hypermax for the race motor, elites done some for me for other motors i've assembled , happy with both

fly cuts,decomp, some special bowl work. as experimental as the head work i did.

ill have to load a video. i took 2nd in super street last night. 309 ft,and second in 8k open,at 299ft.

the truck runs extremely hard. just need to go bigger.

I have a brand new set of standard bore mahle, with .080" valve reliefs, bowl opened .100", .010" removed off tops. Give u a good price.

How big you going? Or are these kind of details we wont hear about?

400cc 200%,clipped 80, witb a 2.6 legal cover. Rods, balanced rotating assembly 6k ready,blue printed, etc etc. I have some calls to make on a cam selection, as i would like to carry 5+k down the track and not have it run itself into the ground,at the big end of the track.

It needs to finish as strong as it starts.

Sounds killer. Have you revved that high yet? I know elite was talking about specific FICM tuning for high rpm applications before, have you thought about that yet? Our just see how it goes first?

My black truck has been to 5k.

I will be addressing the ficm aswell this winter

Also exploring the options of big bore.

Hell yea buddy. I wouldn't drop the comp too low. Mines on the low side. Usually need starting fluid anytime its colder than about 70 degrees outside hahaha.

I would highly recommend forged pistons we have broking 3 set of stock style mahle pistons in whitey
