JUST REPLACED MY PICKUP FOOT IN MY FUEL TANK. CLEANED THE SCREENS & MY MIXING CHAMBER. THOROUGHLY CLEANED & INSPECTED FOR ANY CONTAMINATION. INSTALLED SENDING UNIT. PRIMED SYSTEM & ENGINE RAN GREAT. DROVE IT FOR MAYBE 5 MILES. GOT BACK HOME, R&R AIR FILTER. TRUCK SAT OVER NIGHT. STARTED ENGINE & IT RUNS LIKE CRAP! WHITE SMOKES PRETTY BAD. GIVE IT FUEL & IT BOGG'S DOWN. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ANYTHING. I HAVE NEVER SEEN, MUCH LESS DIAGNOSE A 7.3L WHERE WOULD BE A GOOD PLACE TO START.

ointlaugh: had my head up my ass on this one. when I replace my air filter last night. I put rags in the intake pipe so when I blew out my air box, dirt wouldn't contaminate anything. welp, I left the rags in & forgot to take them out. when I opened the hood to look for anything. a light bulb went off in my head. truck runs great turbo is fine. im a retard. 01 f250 7.3 saw black smoke for the first time out of this thing. that was the second time I've done that. first time was on a 3406 CAT. luckily nothing got damaged that time either.
