I was curious if a 11+ ccsb diesel 3:55 gears fx4 with the following

-Icon stage 3 2.5" kit w/ 4-link, adjustable track back with end links, TEI 1" spacer, 2.5 bypass CDC upgrade front/rear, 2.0 dual steering stailbilizers, 6" OUO large gusset traction blocks with 3/4" ubolt flip and air bags in the rear
-20x10 wheels -24 offset 4.5 back space either BMF, American Force and Method
- 35x12.50 or 325/60 A/T rubbing concern and any trimming.
- Hubcentric is it really a big deal if towing, plowing a lot fill me in please.
-Fisher Xtreme v ss 9'6" or XLS
-and some go fast goodies later, Or just get a truck solely for plowing.

I don't see how any of that would be a concern to plow with. I like hub centric wheels just to be safe when handling big loads. We will almost the same set up except I am running 2.5/5"
Combo instead of the 3.5/6" but I had to trim a little of the inner fender with the same wheel set up but with the 3.5 and only a 12.50 it will most likely clear.

How do you determine if a wheel is hub centric as most products now are cookie cutter design for many applications. I know that older welds are I am unsure about the recent versions. I personally like some of the newer designs but I can not find a answer about it.

honestly. i wouldnt plow with a wheel and tire set up like that. the salt will be killer on the finish of the wheels. i dont know how wide those tires stick out. but when your trying to swing a truck through some tight driveways, and get as close as you can to things, wide wheels and tires will be a downfall. just run a stock set of wheels and some decent tires during the winter and run the x10s when your not plowing

For the finish aspect I was going to plasti dip them to protect the finish and the plow is 9'6" v-plow is what I what I plan on running. Honestly there is a guy up here with a 05+ 6.0 scsb 8 inch lift 37s and a 9 foot plow how he does it I have no.

I'm going to put a blade on my truck next year and put the stockers back on for plowing. They put so much salt on the roads here that I would be afraid my aftermarket $2500 wheels and tires would be destroyed after 1 season of plowing.

It is a shame that they use so much so salt to the point it ruins wheels like that. But when they start spraying the calcium chloride mix stuff it reeks havoc on parts no matter what. It may be better to run stockers with 295/65s actually.

Also would the same suspension set up on a dually with 10 lug 22.5 and 255/70 double coin RLB 490 be of any concern.

It is sad honestly for the cost of the wheels and how similar they are to the original ones made by them when greg was still around.

How do you like the ride of the tires and wear life so far compared to like a sumitomo st 980.

I can't compare ride to other tires because the double coin is all I've ever ran. Air pressure is key, I'm running 50lbs in mine and that seams to be pretty good. The ride is still harsh on deep consistent pot holes found on gravel roads since you don't get as much sidewall flex but it rides a tad rougher than stock on highway and majority of the driving most people do.

It depends on your expectations really, don't expect it to ride as well as a 35/20 combo but it's also not bad at all.

I would not expect them to ride like a Cadillac it is a dually with semi 16 ply tires. Would a 35x12.50r22 be a similar comparison to the quality.

just put a set of 35" toyo at tires, and a set of 20x10 fuel hostages with the new PVD chrome finish on them, hes leveled at the moment, plows just fine, and the PVD should hold up to the weather pretty well (just gta rinse the salt of the wheels every now and then)
