PMR or Forged

How can you tell if you have PMR or forged? I have a 95 350

You have forged guaranteed as long as it hasn't been swapped for a later model engine.

IIRC only 02-03's had PMR's. And some 01's. But all 94-97 and E99-Most 01's have Forged.

Really? 00's have them too? I have never seen a 00 with PMR's and rarely have seen a 01 with them. Not doubting you just didnt know that.

I think it was late '00 that started getting PMRs. My 7.3l was an early '00 and I remember talking about whether I had PMRs or forged rods with a big diesel mechanic after I first got it.
