Power difference between Stage2-2.5 vs. Stage3?

Im still trying to set up my build here soon and debating on which way I want to go with my turbo.

First off I know I can only go 175s max on a Stage2-2.5. So if I go to 190s then I'll have to go Stage3.

What Im wondering is what the power differences are on 175s running a stage 2-2.5 versus running 175s on a stage3? There is a significant price jump between the two.

What about total power differences between 175s or 190s on a stage3? Any other relevant info to push the decision along is appreciated too.

A couple guys have broken 600 with 175's and a 68mm vgt. There are also people running 205's and larger on 68mm's. I would just go with a 68mm if you are getting at least 175's. Not much of a price difference between the other turbos from what I've seen and you Dont have to swap turbos if you ever want to step up to 190's/205's/225's.

You're 100% right /\... Stage 3 will be a 68mm VGT from either Barder or the KC68 turbo.

the one thing Im stuck on and still have to read and read more , is on injector size. 175/75s at 600 is impressive, but 190/30s or 75s can make that too for only a few more bucks. If you can squeeze 600 from 175/75s wonder what they can get from 190/30s.

I have to find the thread where they correlated the nozzle size to barrel size and how fast the barrel can empty. I dont want to get stuck with a 30 nozzle and the damn 190cc's cant empty.

At 4000 ICP a 75% Warren nozzle will empty ~240cc of fuel with a 2.4ms pulse width. It is important to remember that nozzles will differ from company to company on how they are rated.

A 50% nozzle with 190s would probably offer the best atomization while still emptying the barrel with a low pulsewidth.

What about a 30 on 190s? What's the best option on 175s? I wonder if the increased cost and increased stress on ICP is worth it for 190s? Plus the extra stress on the fuel system. I want to try and do a RR only.

Anthony when I compared the Barder 2.5 to the 3 I noticed the 2.5 spooled faster than the 3 but the Barder stage 3 pulled a lot harder up top. Both turbos cleared the 175/75 to nothing. Hope this helps
