Power Source (And lights?) for Heated Mirrors...

I need a power source for heated mirrors. I was told they draw roughly 1.5amps. I have some good 12ga automotive wiring, and a 10amp on/off toggle switch.

The plan is to run the wire from the power...to the switch, then 2 wires to the mirrors from the switch, then ground out the negative from the mirror.

My current thought is to get a fuse piggy-back, run the power from the fuse box, and run a in-line 5amp fuse before the switch.

Any better ideas? Or better places to get a key-on power source?

Also, does anyone have a wiring schematic or color-code list for the wiring harness in an 02?

I THINK I know which wires to tap for the blinkers/parking lights... but I'd like to be sure.

find the wires that come out of your steering colum for the blinkers parking lights, make sure you dont get the blinker brake lights. just stab it with a test light and push the brake pedal to make sure it dont light up. i havent decided if im puttin my lights on a switch yet, factory leaves them on 24/7 as far as i read.
