Problem, need some help!

Randomly truck started running really rough when starting up, smokes like this till truck warms up completely. It is black and grey smoke. Once it warms up it runs fine with smooth idle and no more smoke, just while warming up has a miss (knock). Starts fine when engine is hot or cold. Any ideas would help. This is whytry's (Henry's) truck. He asked me to post up if anyone had an idea.

Does it do it in all the chip settings? He has AE, have him run it and see if anything looks outa wack. ICP and all that stuff.

Does it smell like un burnt fuel? Could be having an injector problem. One or more hanging open. Just a WAG lol

yes smeels like unburnt fuel and injector is my thinking also

How?

Once that plunger starts is stroke it cannot refill, or keep flowing for that matter.

I could see how the lower crush washer can let go, then burn the lower o-ring and allow fuel to enter the cylinder.....but why does it clear up when its warm?

Its just weird that it cleans up when warm, I've seen injectors come unseated an burn up copper washer and the nozzle, they still smoke like a mother when motor is warm.
