Problem with brake lights staying on after truck is off

Brake lights staying on after truck is turned off. Just started doing it today. And the ABS light is on to. What should i do?

I would assume the brake lite switch is fubar. I think they are on the brake pedal lever but not sure.

will also throw an ABS code

Ok i unplugged that sensor and the lights or still on. Dont know what else to check on.

I may check the fuse box to see. Everything worked fine until someone came check out the truck while i wasnt home. Cause i am trying to sell it. Would it be possible for some mess with something. And i did change the battery cables about week ago. everything work after so i dont know.

Could be something jacked up in the multi-function switch.. the brake light circuit is routed through it to make the turn signals flash (all it does is open & close the circuit).. how handy are you with a test light and voltmeter?
