So,

After 4 faithful seasons of hell, my stock bottom end 6.4 finally let go on me this August.

Motor isnt apart yet, but I knew it was going to be bad, wont even start or idle. Gonna assume I gave her the old BRM (bent rod mod)

The current goal is to have it apart, starting today, and back together, and dyno tuned and ready to make a pull at Bean's later this month, and then head to Diesels In Dark Corners later on.

Currently the truck has.

Stock bottom end, COMPLETELY, minus the very first stage 1 colt cam.
Elite High Power Jr's with a slightly different 59
RCD Up Pipes, RCD 6.0 Exhaust manifolds
COMP Valvesprings & Retainers
Stock Pushrods, Priceless right?
II Dragonfire w/ Elite Bowl Delete & Airdog
RCD 60% Nozzles w/ Ported Rails
Spearco
RCD Radius'ed Intake Elbow w/ RCD CAC Tube
RCD Transmission w/ 1700 RPM Billet Stator Converter
4.56 Gears w/ 6 BFG 36" AT

New Set Up Includes but not limited to..

New Cylinder Block
Elite Diesel Stroker Rotating Assembly w/ Carrilo's & Mahle Motorsports Forged Pistons, 0.020 Overbore
Zero Gap Rings
ATI Balancer
Elite Flexplate
RCD Custom ARP Hardware Kits, Harmonic Balancer, Crank Adaptor, Flex Plate
A very large custom ground Elite Diesel Camshaft
RCD Valvespring, Pushrods, Lifters.
Wagler Competition Cylinder Heads, Very first set he's done for a 6.4, we are VERY excited to see how they perform. They do have larger valves as well.
2200 RPM Restall on my converter. Jeremy's progress with the Duramax platform has completely changed the game with 2.6 & 3.0 trucks.
Swapping back down to a higher gear, gonna try 4.30s to recoup some of the speed I lost.

I want it to do 800-830 on Randall's on fuel w/ the 60%'s.

I am going to apply for the Diesel Power Challenge now that things have changed up, and if accepted the truck will get 2-3 stages of spray with twin pumps and 100%'s. No other plans. This set up has worked for me for years, and I intend to make a show if they let me go & get voted in.

Pretty exciting to finally see it happen, I nursed my stock motor longer than most, and it probably took more abuse than any other stock piston 6.4!

Ill update as we go!

Supposed to have a chart showing the superflow test in my hands shortly.

I will say that there were quite a few variables besides just porting and valve sizing.

Thats it for now

You can thank me for the strong winning streak since you made it a dually with my bed. I'm sure there's still added weight due to dirt and grease hidden in the nooks and crannies.... Or the added bondo in the fuel door. LOL

I really need to get up there and check your shop out sometime. Good luck princess.

Been a long time coming.

This motor owed me NOTHING.

150+ passes. I think it was like 188 on my checkboard at home on this long block.. thats unbelieveable

Yeah I'd say it was put through it's paces lol. I've seen how nice the wagler duramax heads look, I imagine the 6.4 heads are just as nice.
