What is the difference in pulse width definition, and how does it affect smoke and timing? I have been a gasser guy and need help. I have a guy trying to sell me on electric hpop saying it will help with bigger injectors also. Please help getting me in the right direction. Currently running warren tunes.

Basically it's a measurement in time (micro seconds) that the injector is ordered to be "on" in order to empty the fuel. Too little and your leaving power on the table. Too much and you could be taxing other components like the high pressure oil system. The idea is to adjust PW until you start to see a drop in performance. Typically the larger the injectors the greater the PW value.

electric hpop? thats a new one

In talking to the manufacturer the pump makes 4000 psi at 13 volts and has a inlet and an outlet. Considering doing a battery relocation and mounting the pumps there to a distribution block with a wide open throttle position activator like a nos system but to activate the pumps. Each would have a 3/8s line to the icp sensor port on each side with the sensor relocated 1 inch away with a t fitting. The pumps are cheap and super easy install from what I can see.

FirSt heuI setup of its kind or at least that I know of, will post pics when the pump comes in, but basically it has a low pressure pick up and a 3 quart reservoir and pumps Out into both ICP sensor holes @ 4000 psi with in line check valves, 4 different size pumps also so if you had some giant conventionals this may be An option, the pumps are very affordable also

I'd be cool if the pumps were VFD type, because we don't need the full 4000psi all the time.

From what I have been told, anything over a 285cc conventional injector is a risk, and to seriously consider hybrids after that.

My home made secondary pump setup wasn't too expensive either...the pump itself was on sale for $89.00 Canadian.....so like $25.00 for you US fellas.

From my talks with the manufacturer, we are going to use a low pressure feed from the turbo oil supply to keep the three quart Reservoir full. The pumps are capable of 5000 psi but is all controlled by the amount of voltage supplied to the pump. I firmly believe that a stage 2 pump at 385.00 volume and pressure wise will be sufficient to supply my 340 150 with a single pump. With 400 to 500cc 8.0 mil plunger hybrids and monster nozzles 200 plus, there are pumps available to support any volume or pressure needed..... without any crazy belt routing all with 3/8 lines and check valves... I see a market getting ready to bust wide open once people see these

Pump prices not including lines and fittinfs, solenoids or check valves , and it isn't close to production at all, just blue print stages, and not all 6.0s will need it, just the big injector guys who want to run big pw

Considering the pump we run on our flow bench would like a 3 PH motor to drive it I find it difficult to believe you can add a hpop to your system that is driven by a measly 13V
