Alright all, I am looking to level my 97 250. I know that most are going to say do a dana 60 and that is in the works but I am looking for the best way to level it with either front axles and how you all did it too.

Thanks for any help.

My truck has an add a leaf, only one extra spring in the front. It actually brought the front up a little higher than the back, personally I like the way it looks, maybe it's not your cup of tea. I did not put it in, I bought it that way, so I don't know a brand or anything about it.

I am not sure I would go that route if a dana 60 is in the works. Not a simple alignment with even doing an add a leaf.

i have tuff country add-a-leafs... i haven't put them on yet but they were 135 for the pair and supposed to lift the front 1.5 inches. all you need to buy is longer u-bolts, it comes with everything else.
gonna try to install them this weekend

I would love to see a permanent repair for this because I know that I haven't done ball joints or a center bushing yet, which is why I am looking for a D60 but surprisingly a have gotten great life out of my terra grapplers, 50,xxx miles and still 6/32's.

I know its an old post but for anyone that is still curious or looking for more info, I put the add-a-leafs in the front without taking the spring pack off and it wasn't bad to do at all. If you're careful and do one side at a time you WILL NOT need an alignment (at least not in my case)
the dana 60 was in my truck when I bought it (it's a 350 so I believe it came factory?) but the springs picked up the front end just over an inch and leveled it really nice. rides a little smoother over bumps too.
like I said, I know it's an old post but hopefully it helps someone out
