Question on fuel system line & sump sizing

On the Beans sump, it has a 3/8" threaded hole that i installed a 5/8" push-lock into. From the sump to the first filter, im running a 5/8" line. On my fuel pump, filter heads and up to the "Y" block, I have 5/8" line as well.

What I'm wondering is, am I creating an air issue have a larger fuel line than the hole in the sump? Should I down grade all fuel lines to 1/2"? I'm thinking being the hole in the sump is 1/2" and I'm running 5/8" line, I'm having 1/8" of area in the main fuel line for air to sit in. No?

I'm running a fuelab pump with a pre and post filter with a dedicated fuel return line back to the tank.

You will not have any problems with the 5/8 line. On my 7.3 I am running 5/8 line from my beans sump to my first filter as well.

Alright. I just watched their install video and it says you can use a -6 or -8 fuel hose if need be. 5/8 is -10...

How would we know if there was an issue? These pumps don't remove air like say an air dog
