Question on installing a fuel system but leaving stock fuel lines

Okay so I installed the fuelab 41401 and a regulated return. I left the hfcm in there connected etc. Now I filled up today and the fuel came out of the oem hfcm supply line. Like kept rolling. I thought it would stop but it didn't...

Could that line siphon itself?

I don't feel like dropping the tank or pulling the bed. Could I cap the supply line under the truck/where the hfcm was and cap that line?

I just put a vaccuum line cap on mine with a hose clamp.

No. It's removed. So the lines are just hanging there from the tank to the hfcm. Well where the hfcm used to be. I didn't think it would siphon. I have a dedicated return line to the tank already.
