I have a set of Fabtech traction bars and ran into a small problem. The bracket on the frame is supposed to be mounted on the bend after the fuel tank, and it also says the shackle needs to be straight up and down. This doesn't work out because the bars are slightly too long (I have the heim joints threaded all the way in so it can't get any shorter). I'm wondering if I could instead thread the heim joints out more and mount the bracket farther up on the frame, on the flat part of it. This would make the bars sit a little bit lower (closer to parallel with the ground). Would this cause a problem? I don't want the bars to bind or make noises or something because they're not in the right spot. What do you guys think?
