Quick axle question

Is the front axle off an 08 the same axle as an 05? If the gears r both 3.73 both being f350's.

I believe the 2008 F-350 Dana 60 is the same as the 05 up front..

Anyway to find out for sure? Found a whole front axle off an 08 for $500.

This is the right place for this thread to be in. I'm pretty sure they are the same, like 95% sure.

Are you planning on swapping yours to an 08 axle? If so I'd be interested in your 05 axle
