Radio will not come on

Everything else works. Just not the radio. Swapped radios with a good one and didn't help and radio fuse is still good. Any ideas? I'm dying here with music.

Pull radio and check the harness. 12v pin could be bent.

Harness is good no pins bent. It randomly happened while in truck. It was working before then just stopped real weird

Meter the 12v connector. If there's 12volts and a good ground it will "should" work

Checked volts and reading 12.

Checked ALL fuses and found 2 that where bad. Replaced them and now it works. Don't know how or why but it works now.

There must be another 12v supply to the deck that turns it on. That's the only thing that explains it.

Strange. This past weekend my radio was blank then all of the sudden the time displayed. After about ten minutes the rest of the radio started working. Figure it is starting to crap out on me.

There are actually 3 fuses linked together with a relay. They link your radio, power windows, and info center on ur dash cluster. Next time it happens check your windows and look for your info (How many miles to empty). If these are also not working then it is most likely your power supply to the relay. which is on the back of your instrument cluster.
