ok so this issue just started this morning on my way in to work my truck is a '96 f250 powerstroke xl it would start just fine but when sitting still the engine would just shutdown and going down the road it would miss (when it was attempting to shutdown) i know it aint no mechanical problem but what electrical issue could cause that?

Good chance it is CPS. Buy 2 of them and put one in the glove box they can go without warning leaving you stranded.

Just some results from a quick google search. 113 is an air intake temp circuit code 603 is a code for the computer or idm I never had that one so I'm not totally sure the 344 is an intermittent cam sensor code did you buy the ford one or a parts store brand? I know some guys have had bad luck with aftermarket sensors. I personally prefer to use ford originals. Also when you replace it I'd check the harness for any signs of wear and look at the face of the sensor. Sometimes the cam gear walks out and destroys or just scrapes the face of the sensor.

clear the codes and see if 603 pops back up, if it does you most likely have a short or a bad fuse on the keep-alive power wire going to the ecu

I cleared the codes out and barely got it home it was doing the exact same thing going down the road except a couple of times while doing 70 she completely shut off on me and the only thing that restarted the motor while going that fast was the fact that I was doing 70

Get a CPS from the Ford or international dealer and change it out. 10mm 6 pt socket to undo the bolt and a screwdriver to pry it a little to get it out.

The CPS code p0344 is the only one that will cause a running problem.

p0603 will appear whenever you disconnect the batteries and will not cause a running problem.

p0113 IAT sensor usually only shows up if you have a open air intake and have the IAT sensor disconnected. It also isn't a running problem.
