Rear diff pinion seal

Truck goes back for more warranty, they tryed to tell me the seal pushed out from housing is normal. Anyone what gaff any problems with rear diff seals

Also doesn't leak when driving just when sitting overnight in driveway

Mine does that only when the rear end is higher than the front end. So if i reverse park on a hill and my nose is pointing down it will drip very small amounts. Doesnt do it when im driving or in "Normal" situations. So i too need info on how to fix it bc Ford will not be touching my truck again.

holy chit! mine is in the shop because my seal pushed out.. have no clue how much fluid i lost. hope i didnt damage anything.. it was seaping a week ago, now it pretty much runs out of it...

Pick it up tomorrow, they also fixed my leak at power steering reservoir, small hose was leaking with crappy stock clamp. Said on the phone they changed the whole reservoir

Got it back today all they did was replace the seal, see how long it lasts

shop i took mine too pulled the drain plug and stuck a magnet inside the diff... guess it was loaded with shavings... lookin at rebuilding it i guess...

Hmmm I checked the oil level when I got home, they didn't change the oil, or even top it up. Might have to pull the cover off and check it out.

Well everything looked good inside diff. No metal just milky dirty oil. Also changed t case oil, did notice my t case outputs to diffs are weeping oil:mad:
