Seems a little too big, I wouldn't want to trust the walls. Riffraff's kit comes with a 12 Month warranty and he does nice bowl lip machine work, if you are looking for one.

not seeing any name brands bother me... get a good Ford kit witch have all the stock name brand parts.. there all over ebay for $1200 bucks to your door with the 12 month warranty..course that's just for the parts and parts alone..anything can happen and blame can be placed any where (like running a chip) so IMO the warranty is useless...a little hint for ya..some of the ebay adds have a make an offer button..I made an offer to 2 sellers and they made a counter offer of $1,000 shipped..

I was just looking at rebuild kits like stated and came across a "Mahle .060" piston.

Also they corrected the site after I emailed them and they only go .040 over.

I did notice that..it also talks about warranties on turbo's and other parts they sell that has nothing to do with that kit...most of the time a rebuild kit that low in price are put together with generic parts..ask what that kit has before you buy...

I second sunrise.... its 1 of a few sponsor's here that pay to keep a good site like this one running for you to ask questions like this ... I could have bought a turbo for 100 bucks less on ebay...but I think the sponsors here deserve it for the help they give us...so I bought it from unlimited diesel...i now know if i have trouble Nate will be there to help...i dont know jack about the guy on ebay..

I cant remember whos truck it was going in but schied has built a few with .60 over. I actually have acustomer who we pulled the motor out for that is going to try the .60 over. I kinda looked at just as I do with gas motors. The less wall you have the less area you have for heat to dispurse. With these motors running the temps they do I recommanded .40 over max because I do know of a few trucks weve done the motors for that have put 200 plus miles and not had a problem.
