From what I have been reading, there seems to be a huge dispairity between rebuilding/modifying injectors that have mileage on them as opposed to starting with newly remanufactured injectors.

My question is, why does it really matter?? If the injector can be rebuilt why not just do it with used ones?? Do injector builders not fully rework the injector like they would a newly remanufactured injector anyways??

I am all about doing the right thing for my truck when I upgrade parts, but I just am not seeing what I am gaining by starting with newly remanufactured injectors vice modifying/rebuilding mine.

Any insight here would be appreciated and it would be great to hear from injector builders on this one. Thanks.

depends on what yours look like when you open them up. that and i really like having new spool valves. they are such a pain.

Using warren as an example, I believe Jesse replaces the spool valves, seals, and other wearing parts. Would I gain much more with a reman?

I could be wrong.

I don't believe Jesse replaces the spool valves unless they are needed. Could be wrong but I believe that's what he's said before. Best bet would be to call him or someone who sells them and ask. As I've said before on this discussion people can have brand new ones and have issues with stiction. The problem is design so it's a toss up either way but I have yet to hear of a complaint about jesses injectors.
